The Orchid Isle Dog Agility Club was founded in October 2006, and is located on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii. We are a non-profit organization and our primary goal is to have fun with our dogs. We welcome new members as active participants in the sport of dog agility, as well as supporting members who just enjoy watching!
Our goals are to work with other local dog agility clubs to further the sport on the Big Island. The club offers dog agility fun matches and sanctioned agility trials to interested participants. We have established a seminar series which brings some of the world's top agility instructors to the island twice a year. We also do demos at local events.
The fast action of dog agility makes it fun for both participants and spectators, with entertainment provided by the dogs, as they don’t always follow directions!
The Club welcomes dogs of all breeds, mixed as well as purebred. Handlers are welcome at all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced, including junior handlers from age 12 and up.
Our Mission
